Dr. Stanley R. McCardle provides general and cosmetic dentistry for patients of all ages, caring for both major and minor needs — from routine cleanings and restorative care to extractions and root canals.

    Dr. Stanley McCardle has spent 30 years caring for people and their dental needs. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Science and Mathematics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham, AL. Continuing education is important to Dr. McCardle, and he regularly attends courses to enhance patient care.

    He takes a comprehensive approach to dentistry, considering the whole person when determining appropriate treatment. Closely networked with local specialists and laboratories, he takes a real hands-on approach to completing each patient's treatment. Dr. McCardle takes pride in his work and strives continuously for excellence in dentistry. He is experienced in a wide range of procedures and takes the time to listen, to educate, and to genuinely care for his patients.

    Missy is a dental hygienist on our team who comes from south Florida and grew up in a small town south of Albany, GA. She graduated from Darton College with an Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Following graduation, she worked as a dental hygienist in Georgia for 10 years, with specialty experience in orthodontics and oral surgery as well as general dentistry. Missy is loved by her patients, colleagues, and doctor, and has become an integral part of our team. In her free time, Missy enjoys hog hunting with her husband Chad and their two daughters, Ally and Paige.

    April is a dental hygienist with a wealth of experience in the dental industry, having worked in a variety of roles over the years. She obtained her dental hygiene license in 1995 through the Alabama Dental Hygiene Program at UAB and has been passionately serving patients ever since. Immediately following graduation, April began her career as a hygienist with our office. After gaining valuable experience, she spent almost a decade working for an oral surgeon before transitioning back to general dentistry — along the way serving as office manager, surgical assistant, and insurance coordinator.

    When she's not working hard to keep patients' smiles healthy, April enjoys spending time with her family. She's a proud wife to her husband Chad and a devoted mother to her two daughters, Emily and Alyssa, and lately she's been cherishing every moment with her new grandbaby, Kaia. In her free time, April loves fishing, going to the beach, and listening to music.

    Layne is one of our dedicated dental hygienists. Born and raised in Mims, FL, she moved to Alabama in 2009 after earning her degree in dental hygiene from Santa Fe College in Gainesville, FL. Since then, she has been committed to providing gentle, thorough care to her patients. Layne has been married to her husband, John, since 2013, and they have three wonderful daughters — Dayten, Kolsen, and Delta. When she's not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, and caring for animals and plants. Her passion for dentistry and for creating a warm, welcoming environment makes her an essential part of our team.

    Stephanie began her career in dentistry in 2009 and graduated from the Alabama Dental Hygiene Program at UAB in 2011. Originally from Dothan and a Rehobeth High School graduate, she's called Headland home for the past 15 years. Stephanie has been married to her husband James for 15 years, and they have two boys, Crosby and Reid. When she's not at the office, you'll find her with her family at the ball field or the lake — she also enjoys gardening and spending time outdoors. Stephanie loves building relationships with her patients and helping them feel comfortable and cared for during their visits.
